<p>Il suo punto di vista non è ne a completo favore si SL come nella visione utopistica di Phil Rosenthal che vede un giorno tutti su SL ne completamente contro SL.</p>
<p>Nonostante la stampa ed il web parlino ormai di SL come una bolla esplosa la base utenti continua ad aumentare (12/8 550.000 Monthly User Active)</p>
<p>Altro dato interessante è che parecchie grosse companies (<strong>CISCO</strong> e <strong>IBM</strong>) continuino ad investire grosse somme (<a href="http://www.zdnet.com.au/blogs/snorage/soa/Blog-Why-a-3D-datacentre-sounds-virtually-unpleasant/0,2000064373,339286334,00.htm"><strong>IBM 3d Data Center</strong></a>)</p>
<p>Altro dato interessante è che le forme di marketing che si inizialmente erano state usate su SL si stanno evolvendo velocemente: <strong>L’Oreal</strong> in <strong>Greenies</strong> ha ottenuto oltre <strong>100K visitatori</strong></p>
<p>Le major companies hanno circa il 15% delle private island e se si conta la loro presenza in tutte le lend la major companies coprono oltre il 5% delle land</p>
<p>Le 3 cose che fanno di SL un caso di successo sono:</p>
<p><strong>Bebop reality</strong> “the virtual world as a 3d jazz combo”</p>
<p><strong>Impression Society</strong>: “Whaddaya got, and how long are you gonna…”</p>
